We’ve gotten more than a few questions from folks new to PodCamp about the dress code for the conference and parties. For new media veterans, the question seems almost funny, but we look at it very respectfully - it means lots of new folks who have never been to an UnConference are coming, and we’re eager to welcome them.
PodCamps are casual affairs. Business casual or casual clothing is fine as long as it’s decent and clean. With nearly 1,300 people registered from all parts of society, it’s generally good advice to dress as you want to be seen, as the sort of person you are. (unless you’re a nudist - Boston city laws are very stringent, given the city was founded by Puritans)
With that, we welcome EVERYONE to PodCamp Boston and set the expectation that you can and should meet lots of people from every part of society!

My advice, wear a teeshirt with your show or business on it. It will show up on all the Flickr pics! I’ve seen business suits to tye-dyed tees (that would be my husband). Just look neat, clean, and true to yourself!
