I'll speak up because I was one of the people making noise about the name. After a few conversations about it I've come to the realization that it's not about complaining to the organizers. It's about firing up the podcast community into wanting to present at the events. It's the presentations that dictate who is going to show up outside of the usual crowd.

So to all of the people who were disappointed in the lack of podcasting at PodCamp I say this: Join me in making noise about bringing podcasting to the forefront of PodCamp. Get in touch with the organizers and tell them you want to push podcasting forward and draw in new people interested in podcasting. This is conference belongs to all of us (except the legal trademark) and we can dictate the direction.

side note: I appreciate the recaptcha. Not enough people are helping this project.
