For every $1 you donate, The Food Bank distributes $4 worth of food.
For every $1 you donate, The Food Bank distributes enough food for more than two meals for people in need.
This is probably one of the happiest blog posts I’ve ever written. Thank you, PodCamp community, for doing what needed to be done, donating ticket proceeds and actual cash out of pocket at Tequila Rain to help the Greater Boston area.
We earmarked the contribution specifically for the Kids Cafe program, which feeds at-risk kids in Boys & Girls Clubs around the metro Boston area, over 1,000 meals a day.
You guys rock.

This goes to show that with a little effort, we can all band together and do something really great to make a difference in our communities.
It’s so easy to feel like the small acts we do are insignificant in the larger picture sometimes; I hope this helps all the Podcampers show that the power of We can be significant and we can do more of this with each and every Podcamp to come.
