This year, we’d love to focus on the things that make events great - face to face, interactive discussions, conversations, and collaborations that just aren’t possible online. As such, we’re putting together a channel of videos from PodCamps past that will cover a lot of the “101″ introductory sessions for new participants. It’s our hope to foster more discussion by having everyone arrive with a knowledge of the basics.
If you have video from PodCamps past, please upload it to the PodCamp Boston University Preconference channel, hosted by premium sponsor mDialog.
A great music video presented by Mark Blevis from PodCamp Boston 2, set to the music of Matthew Ebel’s Join the Conversation off of PodCamp Boston 2 debut album, Goodbye Planet Earth.
Some of you can’t attend PodCamp Boston2. We understand. There are LOTS of things going on in everyone’s life, and not everyone can travel. If you can’t make it in person, feel free to send us your well wishes for the event. We’ll collect them and find a way to show off the best-of in some meaningful way.
Our first entry:
Thanks to Dave Delaney and family from Two Boobs and a Baby + for our first entry of well wishes!
We’re pleased to report that PodCamp Boston is shaping up to be a landmark event in new media, with 735 fantastic people registered for it, from nurses to poets to investors to sailors. Statistically, about 50% of participants aren’t heavily engaged in new media, looking to learn more about it and interact with the folks who are, so PodCamp Boston will be a great opportunity for all of us to gain new friends, partners, and insights. Please invite your friends and colleagues - we’ve still got plenty of space for more!
To that end, check out these great promos from Steve Garfield and Larry Lawfer!
